Do you want to become a key person in information and IT security?

Nordic Paper is looking for someone who wants to take a comprehensive approach to security in our organization and contribute to safe, effective solutions. In this role, you will work closely with the business to ensure that our systems and processes meet the highest standards – both in terms of information security and physical IT security.

Your role will be important as your work helps create conditions for the business to operate without interruption and minimizes the risk of downtime that can affect production, deliveries, and customer relationships. As our specialist, you will be a central part of the work to develop and implement policies, methods, and procedures within the IT security area. You will monitor compliance, conduct risk and data protection analyses, and perform vendor assessments. You will also be involved in the operational management and support of basic IT and handling of firewalls, networks, and IDS/IPS systems. Additionally, you will ensure that technical solutions, products, and processes are reviewed from an information security perspective. We encourage you to actively share your knowledge and contribute to the development of skills within the organization. Since IT security is complex and changes rapidly, environmental monitoring is a natural part of your work – where you keep yourself updated on trends and new requirements in IT and information security.

You have relevant education or equivalent experience in IT, with a focus on operations, support, and IT security. You have a good understanding of information security and IT security, are fluent in Swedish and English in both spoken and written form, and have a driver's license to visit our various sites.

About the employment

The position is full-time, permanent, with a location in Karlstad or at one of our other sites in Scandinavia. Start date according to agreement.
